How do we move from passively seeing statistics to feeling God’s compassion for those in need?

Do you think the author gets too caught up in works over a focus on God?  Why/Why Not?

I’ll bet you didn’t know we get to answer THE question of mankind in this book study… What is the purpose of life?  As Christians, the answer is: to serve God, right?  But what does that look like?  When I wake up Monday morning, what actions should I take to fulfill that purpose?

What tidbit from Chapters 5/6 spoke most clearly to you? Why?

Most people have entered the chat room have participated in the book study without any trouble.  However, a few have had trouble.  We would really like everyone who is interested to join us. So, if you are having trouble, you can first close all your windows then try logging-in and entering the chat room again.  If that does not work, our webmaster is offering to help out! Just call him at 390-6798 to see if he can figure out the trouble.
Thank you for your patience with these technical issues. We would really like to get to the bottom of the problems so your call will help us out!
