After reading Fields of the Fatherless by Tom Davis - I became aware that the local ministry of Real Life(through Youth for Christ) is really a ministry to fatherless/“widows” as it serves single teen moms. There are lots of opportunities to be involved locally - women can mentor a mom; you can provide childcare during the meetings; you can donate diapers which they regularly gift to the moms; and a group can provide a meal for the moms/kids (which they serve before the weekly meeting - could be one of the only good meals they receive all week).
Just wondering if KTM community would like to team up to provide a meal for one of the weeks? The meetings are on Monday nights.
