Salt & Light is holding a can-less food drive during the month of June. Why a “can-less” food drive? More bang for your buck! For every $10 donated, SALT & LIGHT can buy $100 in groceries from the Eastern Illinois Food Bank. Last year, an average of 245 families received food per week at Salt & Light. This year, the average is 350 families per week. They are currently looking for volunteers to make contacts with local businesses - particularly SE Urbana.
