The axe is already at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire. "What should we do then?" the crowd asked. When I read this to my 10 year old son, his eyes got wide and he asked: “Does that… not really… or does it really mean that? Because, Dad, we’re not doing that”. We’re not. But how do we do that? What form should “that” take? When, where, and for whom do we do “that”? Known To Me cannot answer that question for you. We believe those questions must be answered as you open yourself to the leading of God’s Spirit.

We have begun to ask ourselves...What would we do if our neighbor was starving right before our eyes? Would we not help? Today, their plight is not hidden from us. It is known. We believe there is a clear mandate that we must care for societies most vulnerable members, the widow, the orphan, those in extreme poverty.
