Salt & Light is a local, non-denominational ministry whose mission is to share the love of God by helping and educating our neighbors in Champaign County (IL) who are at or below the poverty line to meet their needs. Just 425 donors at $25 per month will cover their annual budget! This is possible because their staff raises their own support, which keeps their administrative costs down allowing them to use the dollars donated to serve others.
Restoration Urban Ministries opened its doors On March 15, 1993 handing out food without prejudice. The ministry located in Champaign, IL provides educational, emotional, physical and spiritual assistance, family support and purpose to homeless families who are desperate and displaced, while lifting up Jesus Christ and his love toward all people. They enable families within an urban community to achieve self-sufficiency and restore their lives.
