The top of Known To Me website contains a menu bar with links to all pages.   A site map of links is also located at the bottom of each page for easy access.

Before you login to the site, the far right menu choice will read "LOGIN", and you will see a set of menu selections that go with it.

After you login to the site, the far right menu choice will change to "MEMBER". Sub-menu selections will change to give access to member account pages explained below.

Under the "LOGIN" menu there are four choices. The first choice brings you to this page for the "Site Guide How To" navigation information. When you press this menu item it brings you to the page you are reading right now.

The second choice is a link called "Log In".

Selection of this menu item takes you to the Login Screen

The third menu item is "New? Register" link.

Selection of this button allows visitors to Become Members or Register for a membership account with Known To Me.

The fourth pick "Forgot Password?" is for current Members who may have forgotten their password.

Enter the email address used to register your member account, and a link will be sent to your email so you can regain access to your account.

Again, after you login the far right menu choice will read "MEMBER". There are five menu options that pop-down and give access to Known To Me site community tools. The first choice brings you to this page for the "Site Guide How To" navigation information. When you press this menu item it brings you to the page you are reading right now.

The second choice is "Your Control Panel".

This is where you access/update all your user information (Edit Profile), add a signature message or graphic for your emails (Edit Signature), upload or select an Avatar (Edit Avatar), upload a member photo (Edit Photo), Email Settings, review/change Username and Password, Edit Preferences, time zone settings (Localization Settings).
This is also the place where you access your Private Message tool. You can send and receive internal messages to and from members you want to directly communicate. You can also see at the top right corner of each web page "Welcome, yourusername" and "Message Inbox [x]". This Inbox is your Private Message Inbox. You can pick this link to access your messages, or access this inbox through "Your Control Panel". You also receive a notification email when someone sends you a Private Message internally.

Choice three is "View Member List".

This shows a list of all the members of Known To Me. You can email anyone of these members individually by selecting the button next to their name. Selection of a member's name will take you to their public profile page where you can read the information they want to share with other members about themselves.

Menu item four is a link to our "KnownToMe Chat Room".
A membership is required to login to the Chat Room. Pick this link to Become A Member. Memberships are manually activated to keep the site clear of unwanted network traffic. Wait time to receive membership activation can be up to 48hours.

Selection of this menu item opens up a new window and automatically logs you into the on-line chat room. This is a tool that allows members to participate in group chats, bible studies, or book/topic discussions, or just a public place to chat with other members. You can also chat directly with a member in the chat room by right mouse button selecting their name in the list and choose "Instant Message" from the pop-up menu. Closing this window logs you out of the chat room.

The final selection on the list is a "Logout" menu item. Selection of this menu item logs you out of your membership account, but you can still browse the website and blog.
